In a warm kitchen bathed in soft evening light, a massive gray floof named Thunder claims his favorite marble perch. His coat flows like storm clouds caught in a gentle breeze, thick and endless, framing a face of pure noble mischief. Those bright green eyes lock forward with quiet command, while his pink tongue slips out in a perfect, unapologetic blep half royal proclamation, half private joke only he understands. He is clearly the undisputed sovereign of counters, cabinets, and all things crumb related.

Not far away, a slightly smaller but equally majestic companion named Mist watches from the doorway. Her tabby swirls catch hints of gold in the lamplight, yet her coat carries the same lavish volume, turning every movement into a slow motion cloud parade. She sits with the calm certainty of someone who knows she could take the throne if she ever felt like it… but prefers to let Thunder enjoy his moment.

Later, the two settle together on a blanket draped couch that suddenly seems far too small for such grandeur. Thunder lounges like an ancient lion resting after a successful hunt, mane spilling everywhere, while Mist curls close beside him, green eyes half-closed in contentment. No words pass between them only the soft rustle of fur brushing fur and the occasional slow blink that says everything important.

When night deepens and the house grows still, they remain side by side on thick carpet, two living storm clouds sharing warmth. Thunder occasionally lets his tongue peek out again, as though reminding the world that even kings need silly little habits. Mist answers with the faintest ear twitch, her own quiet version of agreement.

Together they rule nothing and everything at once, a kingdom of cozy corners, sunbeams that arrive exactly on schedule, and the sacred right to look dramatically majestic while doing absolutely nothing at all.
